Pre-service instructions
If this is your first tattoo from Contender Tattoo, please read this. Here are some pointers on prepping for getting a tattoo, and some recommendations for future clients.
Standard aftercare
Black Dri-Lock bandages and plastic wrap are still in style. This may be supplemented with Saniderm aftercare. Larger tattoos generally use this method.
*saniderm aftercare
This is our preferred aftercare bandaging for small to medium sized tattoos, and it provides maintenance-free care for up to five days.
Only use this product if you don't have any allergic reactions to adhesive! If this is your first time using Saniderm, the recommended usage time is three days maximum.
*Saniderm bandaging will be $10 for small tattoos, and $20 for mid-size pieces. That amount will automatically be applied unless you have sensitivities to Saniderm bandaging or specifically request traditional aftercare only.
